He’s dying. He’s sure of it. And yet in that moment he thinks back to the moment he met a strange girl on a vacant road. A girl who looked a lot like a woman he believed to be his true love. A girl who disarmed the monster within him with her humanity. She knew nothing about him and yet she found herself flirting with him and bantering about the kind of love she wants, the kind of love Damon knows he can give.
